In one of our most recent projects in Suurrey, England, the requirements were clear. The client wanted to park his huge collection of luxury vehicles in a space-saving and secure way.
The solution? The Parklift 462! The all-black retractable garage offers two underground parking levels which, when lowered, allows all Ferraris and Aston Martins to disappear underground!
WÖHR Autoparksysteme GmbH has recently taken over 75% of the company shares of its long-standing partner from Norway - Metrisk Robotparkering AS (sales and project management) and Montek AS (installation and service). Metrisk and Montek have also been active in Sweden since two years. With the acquisition, approximately 20 highly motivated employees were taken over.
The previous sole owner remains involved in the company as a minority shareholder and continues to accompany the development of the two companies in an advisory and supportive capacity.
The aim of the acquisition is to consolidate and expand the position of WÖHR Autoparksysteme GmbH in Norway and Sweden in the long term.
Yesterday we were able to take part in the ArchitekTOUR of Heinze GmbH in Hamburg as an exhibitor.
In addition to many exciting lectures from the industry, we also had the opportunity to introduce our company and our products in the form of a presentation!
At our stand we were able to hold many interesting discussions with architects and planners and make contacts!
We are already looking forward to the next ArchitekTOUR on 29 September in Berlin!
At the moment our Portuguese partner Ascensores do Oeste is installing a fully automated parking system in Lisbon!
With the project "República 55", an old building steeped in history is being renovated and in the course of this, new 18 luxury apartments are being created.
Part of the project in Avenida de República in Lisbon will also be a Parksafe 580, which offers 17 parking spaces on four levels.
The special feature of the parking system - all parking spaces will be equipped with e-charging systems, allowing vehicles to be charged while parked.
The redevelopment of an old building in London's #Knightsbridge boulevard was a real challenge, as the property was demolished down to the listed façade and rebuilt.
As there is an #tube station below the building, the possibilities of deep excavations were very limited. But our Combilift was able to help decisively with this problem!

Bauwelt is a leading German architectural magazine published biweekly. Each quarter the issue StadtBauwelt goes into depth with urgent urban planning issues. First published in 1910, Bauwelt has its registered office in Berlin. Bauwelt reports in a politically independent, critical, demanding and unbiased manner about contemporary architecture in Germany, Europe and around the world. The magazine has no space for cliches, but for unusual contents and well-founded knowledge on architecture from innovative points of view. Located in Gütersloh, the publisher of Bauwelt is the Bauverlag comprising 18 magazines on diverse building topics.
The Parken³ magazine was produced for the fifth time this year in cooperation with Bauwelt. The magazine provides an insight into WÖHR's current projects and discusses the challenges and special features of the projects.

According to the design of the Argentinian architect Martin Jasper, an old department stores' was transformed into a highly modern, transparent office building. The 9 storeys with 78 terraces are highlighted by the four deep cuts in the building envelope. On sunny days, the façade reflects all the colours and stands out from its surroundings.
The basement of the building houses the Combilift 551 semi-automatic parking system from WÖHR. This created 69 additional parking spaces on two levels. 10% of them are also equipped with an e-charging system.

Noronha 28 is a residential building developed to the highest standards. Overlooking the River Tagus, the building is located in a quiet and welcoming spot. Located close to the Príncipe Real gardens and Lisbon's historic aqueduct, it is the perfect retreat to relax in the midst of the lively Príncipe Real neighbourhood in the city of Lisbon.
With our partner Ascensores do Oeste, two Parklifts 405D were installed. The parking systems double the number of parking spaces in the same space. 4 conventional parking spaces became 8 parking spaces.
In this model, the access to the lower level is at a 14 percent slope. The slope significantly reduces the installation height compared to the Parklift 450 model. Thanks to a maximum platform load of 2,600 kg, the systems also lift heavy SUVs without any problems.

DUQUE 70 is the result of the rehabilitation of 4 historic buildings with traditional features adapted to the comfort needs of modern life. The result of this project opens the doors to a closed residential complex with 52 apartments with high quality finishes, a quiet internal garden used by all parties, a swimming pool and large circulation areas.
Our partner Ascensores do Oeste has made possible the doubling of the existing spaces through the installation of WÖHR Parklift 450 / 405 parking systems. Thanks to the vertical movement of the system, combined with a double clearance and a shaft, each space of the system can be used without dependence on each other.
Anyone who wants to look into the future of urban mobility can now make their way to Heilbronn. At the main train station there, the first publicly accessible WÖHR Bikesafe is now in trial operation. The fully automatic bicycle parking garage from the Swabian parking space expert is a spatial wonder with an innovative, digital user interface - and a pioneering project that is also convincing in terms of design in its listed surroundings.
